Things To Do

Students may pay tuition through four convenient ways. 1) Online: Via WebAdvisor 2) In Person: The cashier’s window is currently open during normal business hours. Monday – Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. 3) Payment Plan: Haywood Community College is in a partnership with Nelnet Business Solutions to offer students affordable payment plan options. For more information about the payment plan visit: www.mycollegepaymentplan.com/haywood This option allows students to set up a plan now and make payments later (a down payment is required). The longer you wait, the higher each payment will be. (A $25 enrollment fee does apply). 4) Financial Aid/Scholarships: Financial Aid and Scholarships are available. Students need to apply by filling out a 2020/2021 FAFSA online at www.fafsa.gov. To apply for scholarships students must also complete the scholarship application in addition to the FAFSA. For more information visit www.haywood.edu/financial-aid/scholarships. After completing financial aid and scholarship applications, students should: 1. Check your HCC student email or your Financial Aid status in your WebAdvisor account for updates from the Financial Aid office. 2. Bring in any documentation requested. 3. Check your WebAdvisor account for your award letter. Please check with the Financial Aid office if you have any questions. They may be reached by email at HCCaid@haywood.edu, by phone at 828-627-4756 or in Student Services located in the 1500 (Hemlock) building on campus during normal business hours.
