Creative Arts
Over the last 50 years, Western North Carolina has blossomed into an internationally recognized destination for working artists, craftspeople, shops, galleries and craft education. HCC offers year-round continuing education classes and workshops in clay, fiber, metals, wood, painting, drawing, and music, as well as design and computer classes.

The Workforce Continuing Education department provides training in EMS, Fire/Rescue, and Law Enforcement. HCC strives to meet your goals whether it is to enter a new profession, enhance your current skills, or meet your educational requirements for maintaining credentials.

Allied Health
HCC offers short-term training that prepares you to immediately join the workforce in the fields of nurse aide, medication aide, and phlebotomy. Haywood Community College is now offering Pharmacy Technician training.
